Prof Wiebke Arlt

Wiebke Arlt ist the William Withering Chair of Medicine and Director of the Institute of Metabolism and Systems Research at the University of Birmingham. She trained in Germany and the United States and since 2002 she works at the University of Birmingham, leading a multi-disciplinary research group working on steroid metabolism and action in health and disease. Her research is funded by the Wellcome Trust, the Medical Research Council UK and the European Commission.
